All about the role:
Master Data Technical Lead is a role within Master Data Functional Solutioning Team.
The role
Supports the functional area of given master data domain – and drive required technical changes. Ensures the global blueprint and solutions are aligned with the business processes. Drives projects for master data improvements.
This role is a technical role, with sound experience and expertise in SAP solutions with the focus on the Master Data, master data workflows and with the insights in technical landscape, such as integration technology, with the ability to drive and develop the functional enhancements, configuration changes and other technical changes.
This role manages and support data migration projects and other master data initiatives.
Effective cross-functional collaboration skills are desired in the ideal candidates.
What You will do:
- Act as gatekeeper for Business Partner Data (Customer/Vendor Master Data) within the global solution.
- Drive and participate in various projects where Business Partner Data is used, provide Master Data expertise.
- Handle master data configuration and mass data loads in a quality ensured manner.
- Participate in business requirement sessions and create stable solutions supporting business requirements.
- Gather issues and demands for process improvements, run improvement activities.
- Drive projects/improvement activities related to master data.
- Act as technical specialist support for second line of incidents and service requests.
- Actively build cross-functional and cross-competence collaboration within and outside the area of responsibility.

Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience and competence in SAP ECC are required. Previous experience of working in SAP C4C, SAP Ariba, SAP MDG, S/4 Hana, SAP Hybris, SAP CRM and Fiori is an advantage
- Experience in working in a functional support or subject matter expert capacity, preferable around master data or related process areas as P2P, OTC.
- Good knowledge of master data processes and objects, preferably customer, vendor.
- Experience with data migration and system integration is nice to have.
- Experience from a finance, purchasing, sales, logistics, supply chain or demand flow is an advantage.
- ABAP or any other programming language would be nice to have
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities while working effectively in a team environment.
