Business Manager Group IT

We are seeking a driven and energetic Business Manager to join Group IT to help with the development - & transition of Group IT. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our IT Governance is followed and that the needs and expectations of stakeholders within and outside of Group IT are understood and addressed.
 

What you are going to do

As a Business Manager within Group IT you contribute to fulfilling the organization's targets by providing strategic support, stakeholder management, financial insights, project management, risk identification management, and you are proactively making process proposals.

• Provides strategic support to the Head of CIO Office and CIO NN
• Assists in developing and implementing strategies for Group IT and ensures they are aligned with organizational goals
• Evaluates the performance of Group IT and collaboratively develops improvement plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Actively chases IT governance actions and gives status updates
• Monitors Group IT projects - planning, execution, and completion
• Communicates with stakeholders within and outside of Group IT and ensures their needs and expectations are understood and addressed
• Identifies and manages risks of Group IT
• Helps in organizing Town Halls, Hackathon and other (Group) IT events like off-sites in good collaboration with the communications team
• Provides CIO NN with speaker notes and presentations when needed
• Helps in setting up relevant agenda items for meetings such as Group IT MT and CIO Board and collect input
• Provides the minutes of actions and decisions out of the IT governance

• Salary between €4,414 and €6,306 depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on 40 hours per week.

Who you are

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to develop and implement strategies that align with organizational goals
• Experience in project management and managing budgets
• Understanding of IT Governance frameworks and principles
