The Business Management team is seeking a dynamic professional to optimize business performance by driving key initiatives. As trusted advisors, we identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks while supporting senior management in strategic and tactical objectives. This high-profile role involves implementing new business strategies and optimizing performance across various lines of business.
As a Vice President in Business Management, you will act as a trusted advisor to Business/Group Heads, optimizing business performance by driving key initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks, and coordinating the deployment of corporate resources. This role involves dynamic responsibilities that vary in line with business priorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement new business strategies, strategic initiatives, or platforms, aligning department and support groups.
- Optimize business performance by driving key initiatives related to fees, cost base, RWA, and capital utilization.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks, including legal, tax, regulatory, and capacity issues.
- Analyze financial performance and identify productivity initiatives for implementation.
- Partner with business, Operations, and Technology to define future workflows and implement related projects.
- Collaborate with external service and infrastructure providers.
- Represent the business in internal and external working groups.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.
- At least 5 years of experience, previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience.
- Energetic, dynamic, and highly motivated self-starter.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong presentation skills for senior and global business heads.
- Ability to forge strong internal relationships across functions.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to define and deliver strategic agendas across multiple groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with a logical thought process.
