PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Business Management Process Analyst is responsible for providing support across the functional area of Quality Assurance and will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall business performance. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, gather requirements, and implement solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
The position also maintains adherence to quality requirements established under ISO 9001 standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process Mapping & Analysis: Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements, document needs, and translate them into actionable process improvement initiatives.
3. Process Design & Optimization: Develop and propose new process designs that enhance operational efficiency, ensuring that changes align with business objectives and industry best practices.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze business data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement. Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Functional Area Managers, PMO, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and process improvements.
6. Change Management: Support the implementation of new processes and tools and providing support during the transition.
7. Continuous Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and processes, recommending further improvements or adjustments as needed.
8. Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
9. Ensure compliance with all site’s environmental health and safety requirements.
10. Any other reasonable duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Essential

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e.g. business management, risk management, project management, finance, engineering, IT, Quality Management etc.
OR
-
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in progressively responsible QA/Risk or compliance focused roles within Government Services, Defense, Construction, Mining, Power & Water, Aviation or other related industries.
Desirable
-
Masters of Business Administration.

Lean Six sigma green belt or above.

EXPERIENCE

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Proficiency in process modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management tools (e.g., MS Projects).

Knowledge of business process automation tools

Excellent communication skills and ability to brief at all levels to include Senior Leadership

Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of process mapping, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean), and data analysis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

The ability to lift items up to 10kgs independently.

Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.

Must possess advanced planning/organizing skills and must be able to work to deadlines.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or Secret level clearance US.
STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

EHS REQUIREMENT
