Job Description

Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Enhance Management Information Systems (MIS) to provide actionable insights
  • Continuously improve Business Intelligence (BI) processes and tools to meet evolving business needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes and implement new BI solutions
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new data sources and ensure seamless data flow

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making processes
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends and insights
  • Translate business requests from senior management into valuable dashboard enhancements

Risk Management

  • Apply risk models and methods to manage trading limits, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress-testing, and scenario analysis
  • Use risk management software and tools, and demonstrate advanced proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel, Power BI, and VBA, as well as SQL

Industry-Specific Knowledge and Compliance

  • Leverage your interest and passion for the crypto industry, including the analysis of current trends and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with financial sector laws and regulations, particularly those related to digital assets

Administrative and Support Tasks

  • Perform various administrative tasks for the Trading & Treasury function, including preparation of reports, presentations, analyses, organizing events, managing intranet communication, travel bookings, logistics, etc.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Collaborate successfully in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Banking/Finance or equivalent education
  • Strong understanding of trading, trading products, and financial markets
  • Proficient in BI tools like PowerBI, with the ability to create comprehensive and insightful dashboards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to explain complex risk topics clearly
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for optimizing and improving existing processes
  • Practical expertise related to Crypto / Digital Assets services would be a big plus
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and make well-informed decisions in stressful situations
  • Willingness to continuously learn and acquire new knowledge
