How you will make an impact
The Business Intelligence Analyst is an essential part of the Analytics Team and is responsible for developing standardised dashboards, reports and in-depth analysis. This role is required to develop automated, sustainable and governed data models, which are used as feeders for dashboards and reports. The Business Intelligence Analyst works with the data stewards to understand operational and data entry processes. This guarantees that developed data models, presented measures and results reflect workflows and provide meaningful, actionable information and insights for decision makers.
Key responsibilities will include:

Developing accurate automated data models with tools provided

Investigating and understanding data used in data models

Participating and facilitating conversations and discussions with stakeholders

Communicating with data stewards to improve understanding of data and data entry processes

Collaborating with IT to maintain, improve and enhance data sourcing capabilities and establish a single source of truth data warehouse

Developing reports and dashboards with visualisation tools

Ensuring developed content reflects stakeholders needs regarding and not limited to requested information, meaning, frequency

Establishing a development process from request over test phase to production, which ensures stakeholders engagement and feedback

Documenting approved business rules and compile data dictionaries and glossaries
About you
Along with strong experience in data modelling, you will also have the following:

Two to four years’ experience in data collection, data investigation and preparation, interpretation and presentation of information and insights (preferably in healthcare)

Graduate level or higher qualifications in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence or similar field

Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite of applications

Experience with data visualisation tools (preferably PowerBI) Preferred experience in working with SSMS (SQL coding) for data sourcing

Knowledge of principles of business intelligence and data analysis

Experience extracting and querying data (e.g., SQL queries)

Experience with visualisation tools
