Job Description

As a Business Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Business Developers working for the UK market, while being based in Portugal. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales leadership and a strong understanding of the IT consulting landscape. You will be responsible for driving team performance, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Business Developers working on the UK market.

  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.

  • Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless sales processes.

  • Report on team performance and sales metrics.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities in the UK market.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sales team leader, preferably in a call center environment.

  • Strong understanding of the IT consulting industry.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve targets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Based in Portugal, with a focus on the UK market.
