What we're looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The BDR will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads by researching, identifying, and qualifying potential organizations would benefit from Visia’s software
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new leads
- Set up meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline GTM workflows, automate processes, and drive data accuracy
- Travel to conferences, trade shows, on-sites, and relevant meetings; busy weeks may have 3 or more days on the road
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and progress in HubSpot CRM.
- Collaborate with GTM to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies
- Stay up to date on initiatives, trends, and industry regulations within the waste and recycling industry
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to identify new prospects and maximise opportunities
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in the CRM
- Collaborate with other members in the team and with senior leadership
- Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
- Ambitious and creative, excited by a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Articulate, charismatic and confident in a customer-facing role; strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to create and deploy automated email, LinkedIn, and other outbound campaigns
- Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques
- Proficiency with CRM systems and lead management tools (specifically Hubspot and Apollo)
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and automation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform marketing decisions. Ability to create and maintain reporting dashboards and analyze sales data.
- Experience in dealing with enterprise clients and deal opportunities of over $100k
- Demonstrate an ability to work directly with senior managers and C-level executives
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

- Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 OTE + options
