Business Development Representative - Outbound Customer Contact Initiative
The responsibilities of the Business Development Representative include managing leads generated by cold email campaign efforts, internal company lists, and referrals.
The Business Development Representative is responsible for customer outreach and creating new profitable relationships. They will work closely and report to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities (BDR):
· Manage leads generated by marketing team. Respond to interested customers, in an effort to acquire their business and create great partnerships.
· Make outbound calls and emails to potential customers that are identified as potential large long-term customers in an effort to create better relationships.
· Make outbound calls and emails to prospective customers assigned to you.
· Ask for referrals from clients you have brought to the company.
· Work closely with the sales & production team to help close opportunities.
· Work closely with the Business Development Manager to create new strategies for customer outreach and report back to him on best practices.
· Any additional tasks assigned to you by management.
Minimum Requirements:
· Previous outbound sales experience is preferred but not required
· Typing Speed 60+ WPM (https://10fastfingers.com/typing-test/english)
· High attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
· Must be a self-starter with good time management skills
· Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
· Must have a positive, can-do attitude
· Previous experience with custom manufacturing is preferred, but not required
