If you're tired of outdated, transactional sales tactics like uninformed cold calling and forcing arbitrary close dates, as an Adage Business Development Representative, you will love our strategic, data-driven approach to cultivating the right prospects with the right mix of aligned messaging and appropriate timing. As success with prospecting allows, this role is slated to transition into a Business Development Executive role.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE
We have a fantastic team of seasoned project managers and developers already in place; all we're missing is you: a driven business development representative excited to take your career and our outreach approach to the next level. You'll be focused on developing our next vertical as we continue to expand our offerings and services.
You'll work closely with our marketing team, business development executives, and VP of Strategic Growth, using your past experiences to:

  • Create outreach sequence cadences and messaging in HubSpot CRM
  • Research and build lists of target accounts aligning with Adage's offerings, particularly in the manufacturing industry
  • Cultivate leads through to the opportunity stage using a strategic and data-driven approach
  • Grow into a Business Development Executive role, starting with shadowing through leading opportunities to close as you establish the vertical
  • Optimize messaging and sequences based on success metrics and testing


Other opportunities with this role include quarterly training and career progression planning.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

  • 1 - 2 years of demonstrated goal achievement in a business development role
  • A strategic mindset and drive for success
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
  • Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
  • Interest in digital web technologies
  • An understanding of software development, IT, infrastructure, and web development is a plus
