Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR), who will be responsible for identifying and generating new opportunities for the sales team. You’ll focus on identifying key decision-makers and crafting personalised outreach strategies to effectively communicate Checkout.com’s value proposition.

You will be joining the Identity Verification team, which is dedicated to maintaining and continuously improving a world-class online identity verification technology, based on live streaming video. We're a new but highly visible function within Checkout.com, so this is an exciting opportunity to drive a positive impact.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly performance targets
  • Use creative strategies to engage and qualify prospects within targeted accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Identity Verification product offering to communicate the value effectively to potential merchants
  • Understand customers’ needs and challenges to tailor your approach
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics to refine your prospecting techniques and drive meaningful conversations
  • Maintain organized records of your outreach efforts to ensure a structured approach and improve overall performance
  • Use various sales tools and techniques to build and manage relationships with prospects
  • Collaborate with the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to closing, while continuously enhancing your knowledge
  • Be proactive in seeking feedback and mentorship to accelerate your professional growth and sales skills

Qualifications

  •  
  • Fluency in both English and French to communicate effectively with our clients in core regions
  • Prior experience in B2B tech (SAAS) sales would be hugely beneficial
