This role is focused on driving strategic growth, managing client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify new business opportunities. You will be responsible for both nurturing existing accounts and acquiring new clients while consistently exceeding sales targets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth roadmap for all assigned accounts, focusing on opportunities for existing client growth and new client acquisition. 
  • Respond promptly to new client inquiries, ensuring timely qualification and follow-up within 24 hours. 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new revenue streams. 
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction, share industry updates, and identify areas for improvement and growth. 
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and aligning our services to meet their goals and budgets. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client needs, concerns, and requests, ensuring a seamless experience. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Owners/Leaders and finance, to prepare estimates, contracts, and agreements; negotiate to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. 
  • Provide regular updates on account status, sales progress, and potential risks using Salesforce and RQM+ CRM tools. 
  • Continuously enhance your product and job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading industry publications, and maintaining personal networks. 
  • Offer support to other members of the Business Development team as needed, contributing to overall team success. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field with a minimum of 2+ years of direct experience in medical device / pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and/or quality assurance, required.
  • Experience working in the consulting service industry or similar service organization with a record of successful client engagements, required. 
  • Experience reviewing and/or developing sales contracts, preferred. 
  • Proven experience in a business development, sales, or account management role. 
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities with a solution-oriented approach. 
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus). 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. 
  • Proactive and results-driven with a customer-first mindset.
