- Acquire in-depth knowledge of all Heating Material product offerings, current markets, value propositions and competitors
- Identify and analyze future trends in relevant industries and local market needs for new products.
- Communicate potential ideas to R&D, Product management functions.
- Develop & lead the execution of market plans to capitalize on new business opportunities
- Investigate and Focus on new applications for KANTHAL manufactured Products
- Meet business targets that are set during the development of the business plans.
- Open business development dialogs with new strategic business partners.
- Responsible for product and application development process and pricing.
- Support the sales training for new products
- Responsible for sales tools i.e. VBS tools and marketing material for products.
Tasks for this position
- Create Business Development plan together with Sales Manager and responsible Product manager(s).
- Prepare marketing material with specific focus on local applications.
- Participate in different exhibitions and seminars in relevant industries.
- Identify and monitor competitors.
- Provide Market/Product/Application knowledge to field sales.
- Act as Hub for communication between SU and PU for new product/application development.
- Handle training of new sales person(s).
