The Business Development Manager is part of Edenred’s dynamic and close-knit Sales team for large national accounts (companies with 1000 employees or more).

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key part in enhancing the company's market presence and achieving sales targets by building and maintaining relationships to drive business growth.

This role involves analyzing data to define a vision and strategy for prospecting a B2B portfolio and for convincing clients and prospects from different sectors, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Therefore, it also involves actively participating in events to network and engage with the targeted audience and to manage and report on activities, pipeline, and opportunities of prospects using the CRM system (Salesforce).

More specifically, you will:

  • Prospect a defined portfolio of companies in Belgium by:

    • Advising prospects based on the analysis of their needs and expectations.

    • Selling Edenred's values as a company along with our products and services.

    • Negotiating in a competitive market at various decision-making levels.

    • Preparing rate recommendations, commercial offers, and action plans to achieve your targets.

    • Organizing the onboarding of your prospects.

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients, by developing the business through proactive cross-selling and upselling.

WE WILL VIBE WITH YOU

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management or similar.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in sales, both in hunting and farming activities, with at least 3 years working with key accounts.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French.

  • You are results oriented. In addition to your strong negotiation, networking and storytelling skills, you also have excellent listening abilities and empathy, which enable you to quickly understand the needs of your prospects and clients.

  • You are a team player. You can coordinate and delegate effectively among various cross-functional teams.

  • You are data-driven and analytical. You are capable of drawing conclusions and making recommendations from data and translating them into a strategic approach and action plan.

  • You have a strong interest in HR topics, especially benefits and employee engagement.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Permanent full-time contract (38 hours/week).

  • Location: Brussels (Auderghem) – field presence is required, primarily in Brussels and Flanders.

  • A stimulating position within a dynamic organization that focuses on technological innovation to enhance workers' purchasing power.

  • The opportunity to work remotely 2 days a week with your manager's approval, including a homeworking allowance of 115€.
