We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our API CDMO activities. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new clients, building strong business relationships, and increasing revenues. You will also support the sales of Zentiva's proprietary APIs.
WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Identify and engage with potential clients to expand our API CDMO business.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Lead price and contract negotiations, including quality aspects.
- Support the sales of Zentiva proprietary APIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED / QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related life-science field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in selling API or drug product CDMO services.
- Strong determination and persistence to build a business and achieve objectives.
- Excellent ability to promote and develop strong business relationships with clients.
- Capability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- High level of energy, creativity, and personal motivation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Understanding of cGMP manufacturing requirements and relevant regulatory and environmental issues in the pharmaceutical industry.
