What We Do

Gecko Robotics is helping the world’s most important organizations ensure the availability, reliability, and sustainability of critical infrastructure. Gecko's complete and connected solutions combine wall-climbing robots, industry-leading sensors, and an AI-powered data platform to provide customers with a unique window into the current and future health of their physical assets. This enables real-time decision making to increase the efficiency and safety of operations, promote mission readiness, and protect the environment and civilization from the effects of infrastructure failure.

Role at a glance

Our mission is to enhance the readiness of the Department of Defense's (DoD) most critical platforms and weapons systems. Expanding on our proven successes with the U.S. Navy's surface ships and submarines, we are extending our expertise to other military branches and vital infrastructure. This role involves evaluating new opportunities and leveraging the initial successes we have achieved with the Air Force and Space Force, particularly in infrastructure that operates in aerial and space environments.

Another strategic direction for our company involves utilizing our extensive infrastructure data repository to support the development of next-generation infrastructure. Currently, we have achieved success within the Naval supply chain, particularly in ensuring nuclear reactors are built on schedule and within budget. We aim to extend these advancements to related areas such as Space, Intelligence Community (IC), and Commercial Nuclear fields.

This position presents a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between builders and maintainers. Government acquisition and sustainment processes generally operate in separate spheres, but there is a crucial need to integrate these through digital threads. This integration will enhance decision-making capabilities concerning the lifecycle management of infrastructure—from new builds to maintenance, operation, modernization, and decommissioning.

What you will do

As BD your responsibility will be to help shape and monetize these higher value, strategic-level offerings in the government sectors. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be tasked with leveraging your knowledge of, and relationships within, the sector and your ability to penetrate and navigate large, complex government and government contractor organizations to:

  1. Understand the intersection of their needs and Gecko’s capabilities

  2. Facilitate the development of products and services at that intersection — including engagement and offer design — that align with Gecko’s strategy (which you will also help shape).

  3. Orchestrate all relevant stakeholders, including, but not limited to, potential customers, government or regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders, to effectively sell and deliver on such solutions.

  • With (and ideally generating/implementing) various pricing models (e.g. value-based, volume-based, etc.)
