The Commercial Packaging Business Development Executive will work closely with the entire Business Development Team in the UK and EMEA to drive sales and revenue for PCI’s Commercial Packaging business. In addition, this role will support reaching PCI’s quarterly and long-term goals by collaborating with new and existing clients to increase sales in key areas of EMEA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. 80% Prospecting, 20% account management Travel 50%   Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position.   • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.    
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
  • High Standard of Report Writing
  • Previous experience negotiating pricing, contracts, confidentiality agreements; supply agreements, consignment agreements
  • Intelligent, creative, self-starter with an open mind 
  • Team player with excellent communication, language, and social skills. 
  • Self-motivated, creative, and results oriented with the ability to deliver high quality deliverables on time  
  • Focused with attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to hold oneself in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and clients

  • An interest in the healthcare market
  • Highly organized, able to manage short to medium term projects
  • BS/BA in life science or relevant field
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is a must
  • Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure, handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
