Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

As a Business Development Director, you will be instrumental in creating the growth strategy for CSC's Corporate Trust and Agency business, and then executing on your commercial plan, ultimately driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining new client and intermediary relationships, and coordinating commercial activities across other service lines and business units.
Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the executive team to develop growth strategies and create go-to-market plans for the Delaware Trust / Corporate Trust & Agency Business
  • Drive revenue growth by leading all aspects of the business development process and executing on your strategic growth plans.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy and sales plan with key objectives and metrics
  • Manage the new sales process for Trust & Agency services, including, but not limited to, Escrow & Paying Agent, Delaware Statutory Trusts, Custody, Indenture Trustee, Bankruptcy & Restructuring related services, Loan Agency, Reinsurance Trust, and Aircraft Trusts
  • Create brand awareness and other marketing initiatives such as event participation and ongoing support of business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics.
  • Stay well-connected with clients to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the existing services and make recommendations on new service offerings absent from the CSC portfolio.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing referral partner relationships and leverage personal network to increase revenue and improve brand recognition.
  • Coordinate the completion of RFP's and creation of new business proposals.


Transaction Management Team (TM) involvement

  • Provide commercial guidance / leadership.
  • Work closely with Transaction Managers, Risk, Compliance and Operations management to ensure proposals, pricing/discounts, and services engaged are aligned with client and business expectations.
  • Engage TM team with any service-related issues during the sale and onboarding process.


What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

  • 3+ years' experience in Corporate Trust & Agency business development, transaction management and/or relationship management
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Communications, or other relevant disciplines
  • Strong understanding and knowledge about the corporate services industry and products
  • Strong presentation with excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Service orientated individual who is highly motivated, proactive, strategic, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with player coach capabilities


Salary is based upon skills and experience, but the approximate expected salary range for this role is $165,000 to $175,000 base.
