Business Development Consultant – Trimco – Carmel, IN or Dallas, TX
The Sales Consultant – Trimco is responsible for driving strategic growth within the Trimco business. This person will support the Trimco customers with day-to-day pricing and project activities as well as supporting and educating the Regional Sales Offices on the Trimco portfolio to drive synergies. This position will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, customer care as well as our customers in order to support revenue growth.
What You Will Do:

Work with Regional Sales offices to collaborate and drive synergistic revenue growth for the entire business.

Partner with the sales and product management teams to develop custom approaches and tools that will result in capturing a greater customer and market share.

Analyze and effectively communicate market dynamics and competitive changes.
-
Maintain project hit rate statistics to assist in evolving toward a more successful and profitable pricing strategy.

Provide data for the monthly SIOP forecast.
-
Develop and manage relationships with key Trimco distributors in order to understand and anticipate customer needs and competitive threats.

Maintain and utilize CRM tool for sales reporting and to communicate sales activities.

Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
What You Need to Succeed:

High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
5+ years demonstrated sales experience
-
Knowledge of the security industry
-
Strong communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to interface with multiple levels and functions internally and externally
-
Sales experience in the hardware industry preferred
-
Understanding of operations and project management constraints as well as financial acumen preferred
-
Ability to multi-task
-
Proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
-
Proficiency with CRM and estimation tools (i.e. Dynamics) preferred

Ability to travel: 50% overnight

Candidates are required to live in Greater Indianapolis, IN or Greater Dallas, TX to call on customers in those markets as well as across the Central US.
