As the Aerospace Business Data Labor Analyst, you will improve results and reduce risk in the business supply chain through the analysis of plant labor records, evaluation and continuous improvement of labor tracking processes and compliance in daily production. This is an onsite position that can be based at our Grand Prairie, TX., Huntsville, AL. or Sylmar, CA. locations. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Director.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the critical thinking necessary to lead and direct the analysis of alternative approaches and methodologies necessary to improve consistency of labor reporting in our facilities

  • Provide support in establishing and maintaining standard work and best practices within our manufacturing facilities for routine production and new programs.

  • Support creation of operational information/data in such a way that both timely and data-based business decisions can be made and issues resolved for routine production and new programs. 

  • Operational labor reporting subject matter expert, including timekeeping methods, ERP usage, routings, and operational flow of labor reporting including analytics to identify and correct issues.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure accuracy of employee data, projects, and time collection including standardizing work orders classifications/naming convention across sites, interface of employee data into QAD, and work with Kronos IT team to assess system functionality. 

  • Setup and reconciliation of employee data in QAD in appropriate systems which could include Workday, Kronos and Replicon.

  • Training plans and execution for key plant personnel related to labor reporting. 

  • Auditing and follow-up of time collection accuracy including employee data, clocking accuracy, supervisor approval, resolution of data issues between Kronos and QAD, maintain and audit hourly rates in QAD.

  • Work with cross functional teams such as operations personnel including plant managers, operations managers, supervisors, and finance.

  • Identify and understand labor usage
     

Qualifications

  • US Citizen

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, engineering or other analytic discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing material or labor routings in support of costing structure and analysis or similar operations analysis role

  • Experience supporting data for government program tracking is preferred. 

  • Experience with continuous improvement tools as well as leading continuous improvement projects

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Salary Range $80,000-$100,000 plus annual bonus
