Business Controller (maternity cover)

What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Controller to join our finance team on a maternity cover basis. In this role you will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis, and partner with business leaders to drive performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, analyze financial performance, and provide actionable insights.

• Assist with the budgeting process and prepare forecasts to align financial targets with business goals.

• Collaborate with senior leaders and departments to provide financial guidance and support business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, and improve financial processes.

• Track key financial metrics and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.

• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for management and contribute to special financial projects.

Key skills and qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (professional qualification a plus).

• Experience: 3-5 years in business control, financial analysis, or a similar role.

• Fluency in both English and Italian (verbal and written).

• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with the ERP system SAP.

• Strong ability to interpret data and provide business insights.
