Job Description
Join the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Finance and Business Management team as Challenger Lead on the PXT Business Case team. Come help guide our Product, Experience and Technology (PXT) investment strategy and future decision making. In this role, you will partner with PXT Finance teams from each line of business (e.g., Consumer Bank, Card, Wealth Management, etc.) and act as a trusted advisor responsible for ensuring our business case process is consistent, robust, and accurate across all of our product and tech teams.
As a Vice President in PXT Finance, you will be instrumental in ensuring our product and technology investment decisions are sound and will deliver the expected returns. It will include significant interaction across 13 product finance teams and their respective Product and Technology leads.
Job responsibilities

  • Oversee business case challenger process including scrutiny of investment sizing, timing, and expected returns to ensure all marginal impacts are incorporated to the business case
  • Partner with product finance teams to monitor adoption of business case process and methodology standards
  • Incorporate learnings from post-implementation review team into challenger process to drive continuous improvement of assumptions
  • Design and lead learning program to drive adoption of business case best practices


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of prior experience in finance or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related areas
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to comfortably and effectively interact across a broad range of functions
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and investment analysis
  • Prior experience with multiple product lines in retail banking
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced degrees of certifications is a plus (e.g., CFA)


Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
