As a Business Banking Risk Strategic Analytics Associate within the Risk Management and Compliance team, you will be at the heart of ensuring JPMorgan Chase remains robust and resilient. You will play a crucial role in helping the firm expand its business responsibly by anticipating new and emerging risks. Your expert judgment will be key in solving real-world challenges that affect our company, customers, and communities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to promote small business risk data analysis, reporting, strategies, and statistical models to the next level.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze small business data, developing comprehensive analytics, and supporting various key initiatives utilizing data to evolve our reporting, strategies and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrate strong people management skills, analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethics, and leverage sound judgment to effectively work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
- Synthesize large amounts of data into actionable analysis and provide a point of view to CRO level leadership
- Building the 'next generation' suite of data analytics
- Develop robust data and comprehensive analysis for senior management
- Identify and automate data routines to improve efficiency
- Expand analytic and data capability for small business lending customers
- Understands Agile and quality assurance concepts, data models, methodologies and documentation standards.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Strong people skills, communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills, writing, and ability to turn rows of data into useful information
- 5+ years of data analytics experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence concepts, developing strategies and statistical analysis
- Hands on experience in one or more of the following: SQL, SAS, Alteryx, or Tableau
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other similar disciplines
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or other similar disciplines
- Hands on experience with one or more of the following: Python, R, Cognos, or Power BI
Shift Schedule: 3pm-12am PHT, weekends off
