We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Applications Manager to lead and manage the strategic deployment, optimization, and support of enterprise-level business applications across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and IT professionals to ensure the effective implementation of business solutions that drive operational efficiency and support organizational growth and data-driven decision making.

This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of business applications, including selection, implementation, integration, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategies for the continuous improvement and optimization of business applications, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business-critical systems).
  • Ensure that applications are fully integrated with other systems and platforms, and troubleshoot any issues related to system functionality or user experience.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for application governance, security, and data integrity.
  • Manage the planning, scoping, and execution of business application projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and third-party providers for application development, maintenance, and support.
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines, resources, and documentation.
  • Develop and manage user training programs to ensure effective usage of business applications across departments.
  • Provide ongoing support for application users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Gather user feedback and provide recommendations for system enhancements or new applications that meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in business applications, technology, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
  • Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and cost reduction through the use of technology.
  • Analyze performance metrics and application data to evaluate the effectiveness of business applications and implement improvements.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant certifications in business applications (e.g., ERP certifications, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing business applications or enterprise software solutions in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with system implementation, integration, and management of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS etc.).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in process optimization, change management, and IT governance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of system integration techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiations.


Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
