Job Description
The Business Analytics Vice President will join a dynamic Data Analytics team that manages strategy and operational insights for the Commercial & Investment Bank's Global Services function. This is a high-visibility role involving direct interaction and partnership with various senior stakeholders. You will learn core business processes and develop people, process, and technology components required to support a best-in-class organization. You will also lead development of C-suite/ Executive presentations and targeted analytics that help inform the health of the business.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of a global operations program
  • Manage a complex analytics book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline
  • Partner with senior leaders in advancing their business analytics agenda to deliver in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.
  • Define, design, and manage high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in the areas above
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Collaborate and build strong partnerships with technology, application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement (e.g. advanced analytics, cloud adoption etc.)
  • Explore datasets to uncover trends, outliers, and relationships. Utilize interactive visualizations to allow stakeholders to explore the data, drill down into details, and discover insights on their own


Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • 6+ years of work experience within Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Research and/or Management Consulting roles. Work experience in Financial Services is a plus
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience with various analytical and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership ability
  • Project experience involving the use of data to solve complex business problems, leveraging toolsets such as: SQL, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Python, R and Alteryx
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems (AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree is a plus
