What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Analytics, Sr. Analyst to report to the Director of Business Operations & Strategy and support our Corporate Strategy Department. The Business Analytics team supports Executive Leadership by ensuring they have access to the right data to drive business performance. In this role, you will use a data-driven approach to enhance NinjaTrader’s decision making, improve the understanding of the business and drive strategic insights. This is a highly visible role that offers a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional leadership on business analyses, KPI development and tracking, and analytical deep-dives. From day one, you will be an active participant in tracking business performance that will help NinjaTrader continue to provide a best-in-class offering for its customers. There is opportunity for growth in this role as the team expands within the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, track, and monitor KPIs related to the overall business and segment performance relative to internal and external benchmarks
- Partner with key business stakeholders to identify, and begin to execute against, opportunities to improve business performance
- Influence executive-level stakeholders with detailed data analyses and insights to drive informed business decisions
- Build and maintain databases with industry data, research insights, industry landscape developments, and market trends
- Conduct in-depth research and business analysis to identify key business trends, threats, and opportunities
- Support business stakeholders in the development of business cases
- Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities through data, conducting analytical deep-dives on high priority initiatives to support business ambitions
What you’ll need:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business operations or a similar role; Experience in FinTech preferred but not required
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Google Data Studio, and Big Query (or other database tools) required
- Advanced analytics skills and ability to conduct deep-dives on business drivers and large datasets
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a commitment to excellence. Willingness to work long hours on an as-needed basis
Compensation:
The salary range for this role will be $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).
Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual PTO allowance begins at 15 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays. Additional details on our total compensation package and benefits are listed below.

Location: This role is based in Chicago, IL.
