Responsibilities
● Gather and discover requirements from enterprise clients
● Understand the bigger picture of an enterprise client’s business needs
● Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
● Identify best fit information and insights that can be derived from data sets from Meltwater or 1st or 3rd party data
● Work with Solutions Engineering to propose solutions and strategies to solve business challenges of enterprise clients
● Help design and mock solutions for clients
● Demo proposed solutions to clients
● Prepare statement of work with what is in scope and out of scope
● Assist with cost and timeline estimates
● Support the entire pre-sale process including contracting
● Work on custom solutions as part of large scale RFPs (including understanding requirements from an RFP)
● Build effective working relationships with team members
● Create scoring formulae and methodologies aligned with the client requirements and data
Requirements
● Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a background with technical experience
● At least 3 years' experience consulting directly with clients
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Fluent Mandarin (business) and English
● Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships with clients
● Analytical mind and business acumen
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
● Experience in data mining and knowledge on common machine learning algorithms such as classification, clustering, topic modeling, etc would be useful
● A good understanding of SQL, no-SQL, relational databases, and normalization
● Basic knowledge of a scripting language and use of API
● Basic understanding of SAAS/web applications and their architecture
● Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems
● Identifying relevant data sources and organizing data into usable formats for business need
