At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. As a Business Analyst, you will focus on supporting commercial, and technical projects and initiatives, in the IT areas of CRM and Integration.

Your role will focus on the delivery of client engagements, by understanding clients’ objectives, aligning your work to these objectives and setting personal priorities, liaising with others across all lines of business, and taking accountability for your own and team results.

A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst at Qualco will include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders;
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and process flows;
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions;
• Conduct impact analysis to identify risks, dependencies, and feasibility of proposed changes;
• Support Agile processes by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups;
• Assist with process mapping and optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks;
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define test cases, and validate system functionality;
• Monitor key business metrics and generate reports using tools like SQL, Excel, or Power BI;
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment;
• Document workflows, system functionalities, and business processes for future reference.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred;
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst role or similar position;
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and software development lifecycle;
• Ability to create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar documentation tools;
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, would be a plus;
• Ability to engage with both business and technical teams;
• Financial services, fintech, or relevant domains, would be a plus;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
