What you'll do
In your new role, you’ll be producing business requirements to inform future state design, supporting teams in understanding the requirements and their linkages to the overall domain strategy. In the course of your work, you’ll build, manage, and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions. You’ll also ensure all agreed outputs and decisions are documented in the agreed tools throughout the project lifecycle, from initial capture through various stages of refinement and through to delivery.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Supporting others to articulate the ideas and requirements in the format required by the team, such as use cases, user journeys, user stories, and illustrations
- Performing detailed analysis of the functional aspects of our current technology platform to understand how it serves the customers
- Learning the latest regulatory developments including SWIFT and ISO 20022, and assess impact to the customer journeys
- Assisting engineering and testing teams in managing the functional integrity of the technology platform during migration to cloud
- Leading the engagements and meetings with cross functional teams and working with them to elicit detailed requirements
- Performing cross product impact analysis and assessing the impact of new regulatory implications on the product and digital transformation changes roadmap to support the book of work prioritisation
The skills you'll need
We’ll look to you to bring a good understanding of Agile values, principles, and methodologies with experience of working within an Agile environment. Additionally, you’ll need at least 11 years of experience and hold an appropriate business analyst certification.
You’ll also need:
- Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
- To be proactive with strong analytical abilities, extensive payments and digital channels knowledge, and a collaborative approach to ensure successful delivery of complex regulatory and transformation programmes
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
