Job Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst Intern to support initiatives related to client success and business growth. You will work with the Cost Basis, Tax Operations, and Tax Portal Operations teams to analyze data, identify process improvements, and contribute to strategic projects that enhance efficiency and the overall client experience. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing operational processes, assisting with decision-making, and supporting key business functions in a dynamic environment. 

To be considered, you must be able to commit to a 10-week hybrid internship and work 40 hours per week during our summer program.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas where operational efficiencies can improve client outcomes. 

• Analyze data and workflows to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in Cost Basis, Tax Operations, and Tax Portal-related services. 

• Support the delivery of recommendations to management for improving processes and systems that drive client satisfaction and business growth. 

• Work with the team to identify opportunities for improved data validation and reporting processes. 

• Document processes and create reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. 

• Identify patterns and trends from operational data to inform key business decisions. 

• Outline actionable recommendations based on analysis to improve processes and drive efficiencies in operations. 

Education and Experience: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. 

• Senior standing, May 2026 graduate 

• Proficiency in Excel, or similar tools (experience with data visualization tools like, Looker, Tableau or Power BI is a plus). 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in data analysis. 

• Basic understanding of platform services and metrics creation is a plus. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

• General interest in Fintech.  

Work Environment: 

• This internship operates in an office environment. 

• This internship operates on a hybrid schedule in Austin, TX.  

Salary: 

• $25 per hour.
