About the role:
As a Business Analyst (Mid-Level), you are responsible for assisting with the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements. We are seeking a talented and excited individual who can perform business analysis to inform Takeda's decision-making processes. In your role, you will support the Senior Business Analysts and other team members in gathering insights that help to identify potential risks and areas of opportunity for the business.
In this role, you will be a part of the Technology Program and Project Management team. This team is responsible for planning timelines, identifying resources, gathering requirements, executing, and delivering technical projects. This role will work closely with the BA Lead and Senior BA's located in India. This role will align to the Functional Analysis chapter of the ICC.
This position will report to the BA Senior strategic direction. Day-to-day management will come from the BA Senior.
How you will contribute:
- Understand business requirements and articulate insights in the form of user stories, business requirement documents and wireframe representations.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data sets to support data-driven decision-making.
- Create reporting solutions and dashboards that provide access to tailored Power BI insights.
- Support enterprise clients and employees in adopting and understanding data solutions.
- Understand the gaps between requirements and product functionalities, helping to define workable solutions to resolve identified gaps.
- Participate in executing scrum tasks, helping the Product Owner in Sprint Prioritization (Agile Knowledge) activities.
- Participate in workshops and presentations with Senior Executives and other business leaders.
- Collaborate with the Development Team throughout the implementation phase to monitor alignment between design specifications and business needs.
- Assist in building a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Lead the sharing, re-use, design for scale stability amongst team members.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in business analyst field
- Knowledge of business analysis, business analytics, product management, configuration management, requirement analysis, and workshop facilitation
- Proficient in Power BI or equivalent visualization tool
- SQL skills, data profiling, and data quality analysis
- Experience in program and project management (e.g., waterfall and agile methodologies)
- Experience with SAP, ERP, Integration platforms, MuleSoft, SDLC & financial services
- Experience in GXP, regulatory and risk compliance
- Experience with requirement gathering for data platform build, data migration, and development of STTM
- Knowledge of BPM, URD/BRD Functional Specification, SIT, UAT, BAU, and BRD/FRD
- Knowledge of business case writing and business process management (BPM)
- Understanding of using:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- MS Office365 suite and MS Project
- MS Visio
- MS Dynamics
- DevOps
- Data Lake, Cloud Computing
- Understanding of SDLC test process, project and test lifecycles
- Knowledge of CMMI and process improvement frameworks
- Ability to support outlining key KPI's/measures for dashboard and reporting
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate as a leading member across globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions
- Written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling and interacting effectively with multifunctional teams and other strategic partners
