Within the Digital Transformation organization, the Business Analyst - Data will provide strategic business and data analysis services to our Finance and business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the Broadridge Finance community, Product Owners and Business Units to execute activities within the digital transformation strategy. This professional will analyze data, perform data sourcing analysis, support data governance activities and manage data quality as we look to execute an enterprise Data Strategy. This role will be key to the success of our Digital transformation by supporting project management activities and managing risks throughout the program.
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst - Data is responsible for accurately sourcing required data into our enterprise data platform, ensuring data requirements and quality expectations are met. Perform business analysis activities ensuring accurate requirements are captured, source-to-target mappings are maintained, and data quality rules are defined. Responsibilities will include assisting project/program managers on larger more complex projects.

Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs across Finance

Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists) to communicate progress updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to a diverse audience

Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships

Identify, create and facilitate data sourcing plans and requirements to meet business and systems expectations focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; partnering with customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies

Provide and support the implementation of data solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
Preferred Background & Skills

Experience with Master Data Management and other Data Governance practices

Must be proficient in phases of project management lifecycle and agile methodology

Experience working on medium scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business

Strong project management skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point,

Ability to foster strong relationships

Strong communication skills

Proficient use of MS Project, MS Suite (PowerPoint/Excel), Jira, SQL, etc.

2-5 years relevant experience / demonstrated history of success in business and data analysis
Salary range $90,000.00-$105,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
