As a Business Analyst within our Product Development Management group, you will be coordinating with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, Technology, and Senior Management. You will have the opportunity to build business requirements, procedures, and processes, including project plan development, resource management, process mapping, and process design. This role provides a chance to contribute to our organizational design and capacity sizing, making a significant impact on our operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the implementation of projects for the CDD, LDD and Workflow Transformation Product Development Management group using standard Agile project delivery methodologies
- Conducting data analysis, data collection, and synthesis to translate into empirical solutions or evidence that can optimize project reporting
- Collaborate with other Product Delivery Teams to ensure dependencies are managed across applications
- Proactively communicate global and local business requirements/priorities and project status to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation
- Apply change management approaches and methodologies to promote change to operating models, standardization of technologies and streamline operational processes
- Work with the central Release Management team to deliver projects to release timelines and support technology with production releases.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5 years experience in a business analysis role in the banking/financial industry
- Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques including UML, Data modelling, Signavio - DMN.
- Widespread experience of working in an agile delivery model, and writing User Stories using industry standard techniques
- The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with JIRA as well as technical skills e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint
