About the team
We are the leading eCommerce payment processor solution for the US & Canada. It accepts payments from major card brands (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover), ACH, mobile & digital wallets, gift cards, etc. It is the US’s largest debit and credit card processor, with an average of 35 million daily mobile, online, and in-store payments. It also provides international merchants with a “one-stop shop” integration for global and US payment processing. Value-added services provide merchants with the most advanced tools and data they need to increase and protect their revenue, reduce costs, and grow with experts. You will get an opportunity to work on the Cloud-native microservices for card payment connector and Account updater services as part of a Tech modernization project that uses a cutting-edge technology stack. You will be part of a group that takes pride in its engineering/people culture and uses market-leading agile practices such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
What you will own:
- Manage CI/CD pipeline
- Ensure daily Build complete
- Troubleshoot and fix broken build
- Daily support for production and non-prod environments, proact and react to issues, need rotation to be on call for production support
- Script and automate the day-to-day tasks
- Provide consult service to engineers.
- Flexibility to daily work during IST late evening hours to accommodate US time team meetings, etc?
- Strong Linux and scripting skill to troubleshoot broken build etc.
Where you’ll own it
You’ll own it in our modern Pune hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, APAC moves fast. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective that collaborates with different teams and offices across the globe.
What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
- 4-10 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Linux environment, and in-process automation.
- Hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Day-to-day Build Operations to ensure stability of the system
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including command-line interface (CLI) usage, configuration, and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a Linux environment
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience working with the following tools – Jenkins, Selenium, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Ability to dive into various unknown code bases
