Your Role
As a Brand Designer with Video Graphics and Motion Graphics Skills at Gensler, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual experiences that communicate and elevate brands identities across various platforms. You will create engaging content, with a focus on motion design, video editing, and brand storytelling. This role requires a blend of creative design skills, technical proficiency in video production tools, and an understanding of branding principles.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute creative concepts for motion graphics and video content to reinforce brands across multiple media channels.
- Create engaging visual assets, including promotional videos, social media content, internal presentations, and branding assets with motion design elements.
- Conceptualize and produce motion design and animation for both digital and video platforms, from initial idea to final delivery.
- Edit raw video footage, create transitions, titles, and effects to produce polished and high-quality video content.
- Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients
- Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD or digital applications
- Interact with internal team members, project managers from other areas, representatives from accounting and external vendors
- Design and animate motion graphics that integrate seamlessly with visual brand identity, contributing to the storytelling aspect of our projects.
- Maintain and manage assets and file organization for video and motion design projects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and new technologies to keep Gensler’s video and motion graphics content fresh and innovative.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Motion Graphics, Video Production, Architecture or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in motion design, video editing, and brand development.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your motion graphics, video design, and brand design work.
- Experience working with animation techniques, 2D/3D design, and video compositing.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory as it relates to branding and motion design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with additional motion design software or 3D design tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.) is a plus.
- Use of SketchUp, Revit, CAD tools or other 3D modeling programs a plus
- Hand sketching/drawing ability a plus
