How will your role help us transform hope into reality?

You will plan, implement and optimize events, effective omnichannel disease awareness and product communication to all relevant customer groups, in line with our business strategy for the Alpine markets.

You will be a key member of our team and report directly to the Country Manager Alpine. You will work cross-functionally within the team as well as with stakeholders across other teams. You will be comfortable in an environment with strong customer focus and fast-paced change, have strong communication skills, work effectively in cross-functional settings and have a problem-solving, analytical approach to be successful in this position.


What will you do?

  • Drive planning and implementation of the marketing and communication strategy incl. disease awareness and branded promotions across a relevant omnichannel mix
  • Translate the brand science and strategy into patient-friendly terms to make a positive impact on patient’s lives
  • Monitor and identify trends, opportunities and threats and integrate them into strategic and tactical plans
  • Drive effective and efficient cross-functional collaboration and alignment with relevant stakeholders to appropriately meet or exceed objectives
  • Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all disease awareness and marketing materials/ communications
  • Manage event planning and execution to support the Alpine field team in strong customer engagement, incl. contracting and administration of processes
  • Identify, brief and manage 3rd party agencies and cooperation within marketing and event management activities
  • Monitor and control marketing & event budgets, forecasts and expenses and assess the marketing and omnichannel mix to evaluate cost efficiency and results

 

What minimum qualifications do we require?

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master in natural sciences or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • Ability to travel approx. 25% or as needed for conferences and meetings
  • Fluent (spoken & written) in English and German, French an upside

 

What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?

  • Pharmaceutical Rx marketing experience and/or multi-channel, digital media, social media experience, inclusive of CRM, display, social media, email, website, and digital measurement plans
  • Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process
  • Rare disease experience preferred
  • Strong patient orientation with organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships and operating in a cross-functional environment
  • Results-oriented, exhibits leadership skills, and ability to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything you do, alongside a team that is driven by improving the lives of patients
