The Role:

The Bee Heat & AC  is seeking an experienced Boiler Technician to join our team. A Boiler Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities

Installation: Set up and commission new boiler systems, including piping and control mechanisms, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and local codes.

Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair boiler malfunctions, replacing defective parts and components as necessary. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on boilers and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of boiler systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each task.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience working with boiler systems; experience in both residential and commercial settings is advantageous.
  • Licenses: 
    • Drivers License
    • Relevant certifications in boiler maintenance and repair; EPA certification is a plus.
  • Skills: 
    • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to boilers.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
    • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Requirements: 
    • Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights

The pay for this position is $23/hour or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location, plus performance based incentives. Other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
