About the Function
Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. Purpose Of the Role
To physically Blend and prepare bulk product in the relevant format for supply to the relevant Packaging business partner.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Matric with Mathematics and Science
- 2 years blending, production, or filtration process experience
- 2 years FMCG experience
- Working at heights certification (mandatory)
- Exposure to HACCP and ISO standards
- Basic computer literacy

Role Responsibilities
- Supply of bulk liquid on time full at the required quality standard
- Apply the correct Process and Formulations as described on the relevant SOP’s.
- Maintain and conduct the cleaning and housekeeping (5S) processes of the facility, plants, and equipment internal and / or external.
- Maintain all ingredients and spirit transfer records and documentation as per the SOP’s.
- Prepare for start-up of process steps by ensuring availability of equipment, process aids and ingredients.
- Submit samples for quality approval and conduct the relevant adjustments and ensure all the quality parameters are within specification before filtration start-up.
- This role involves facilitation and interaction with staff from Quality, Bottling, Training, Engineering, Warehouse, Manex, and SHE departments
- All testing and measuring parameters are recorded and deviations reported.
- Report any faulty or non-optimal functioning plant (CIRC Cards),
- Loading and offloading of bulk tankers and containers performed as per standard operating procedure.
- Ensure adherence to quality and food safety standard as defined in SOP.
- Comply with all Working at heights requirements.
- Comply and align with all blending precautions as defined in SOP.
- Always comply with CODEX protocols.
- Adhere to the CIP SOP and matrix.
- Participate in the department Continuous Improvement initiatives Manex
- Assist and participate in the inventory (Stock) control processes.
- Ensure adequate coverage of shift, showing absolute support for colleagues as well as good team spirit.
- Adhere / Comply with nosing requirements for all SKU’s
KPI’s:
Safety
- Ensuring Risk and Hazards are Identified, reported and corrective measures implemented.
Quality (Right First Time)
- Ensure all Quality Parameters are maintained.
- Maintain suitable housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
Delivery (Efficiency)
- Supply the plan on time in full in accordance with the Blending Plan
- Downtime, repairs, and maintenance are recorded and reported (CIRC Cards)
Cost
- Maintain and improve the relevant waste parameters within the required tolerances.
- Deliver the product within the required time and resources parameters.
Compliance
- Maintain all documentation.
- Complete all records correctly, fully, and honestly.
- Conduct all activities and processes in accordance with relevance LTO Standards
- Attend all mandatory and statutory training.
- Conduct all the Blending activities according to the agreed Technical Manuals and Company Standard operating Procedures.
- Ensure all Quality and Food Safety Management system standards and controls are consistently applied.
