Job Summary
The process operator is accountable for blending and packaging basic extracts and blending chemicals to generate finished products, adhering to environmental compliance, meeting customer quality and delivery requirements, and proper documentation / labeling. This is an entry level position with career advancement opportunities within, and external to, the facility.
Job Description: Responsibilities
- Support your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
- Ensure 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. As well as executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices.
- Safe completion of life critical activities in blending areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
- Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Ensure all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
- Adhere to General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and practices. Proper documentation for product traceability and all applicable food safety standards while carrying out duties for packaging, labelling and palletizing product.
- Ensure utilization of correct finished goods verses product recipes, verifying inventories, and issuing goods to the process orders.

The following are requirements for this position
- High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
