Biotech Associate

Are you a fresh graduate with a Technical/Vocational degree (MBO4/HBO) in Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field? Do you want to work in an innovative environment where you contribute to the production of cell therapy products?
As a Biotech Associate at Lonza, you will be responsible for the execution of cell therapy products manufacturing activities (cell- and tissue culturing), in a GMP cleanroom environment. In this entry level position, you will work under the supervision of expert colleagues, who will guide you through your tasks and help you ensure the right levels of quality.

What you’ll do:

Complete and pass Lonza onboarding training and project-specific training and qualification programs
-
Carry out all tissue culture activities for cell therapy, from starting material to final product, according to relevant procedures, under supervision

Set up and monitor machines and equipment in accordance with Lonza procedures in a GMP cleanroom environment

Carry out associated duties, including required cleaning of production areas, assisting in (re)qualification of equipment, and logistic activities under supervision

Execute and verify all required process steps in approved batch records (paper or digital), under supervision

Notify supervisor of all observed deviations in a timely manner
What we’re looking for:

Technical/vocational degree (MBO4/HBO) in the field of pharma/Biotech/Lab
-
0-4 years related experience

English language skills, verbal and written

Availability to work in shifts, as it’s required for the role. Shift models can vary based on project needs
