Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Understand the key performance targets and develop a strategy to meet and exceed all metrics within an assigned region with anything related to lab testing

  • Use and update CRM to effectively manage and maintain key information on accounts and prospects · Develop and execute strategic business/sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our lab testing customer base

  • Implement sales and educational strategies for new lab technology launches

  • Effectively execute and follow sales paths, policies and practices as required by Microbiome Labs / Novo One Health

  • Actively communicate with Lab support team

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers and prospects and connect them with their supplement representative

  • Partner with customers and prospects to understand their business needs and objectives

  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

  • Help customers and prospects via the phone, email, online presentations, screen-share, in-person meetings, and staff trainings

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, prospects, and stakeholders

  • Update job knowledge by participating in continued educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, attending company trainings, and improving presentation skills

  • Communicate with sales manager any needs and/or changes that will help support sales efforts

  • Regularly meet with sales manager to review business/sales plans, key performance efficiencies, customer retention, and new customer acquisition strategies

  • Ensures customer and lead communications support companies objectives

  • Attends trade shows on behalf of the company to educate prospects, acquire new customers & leads while providing continued education to current accounts · Perform regular territory assessments to identify threats, trends, and opportunities

  • Performs other related duties as assigned · This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager

Basic Qualifications

  • Consistently demonstrates positive energy and strong initiative/ownership.

  • Understanding of a sales process

  • A commitment to excellent customer service

  • Previous working experience as a sales representative for 2 years (lab sales preferred)

  • College graduate preferred

  • Work with multiple teams to ensure objectives are met on time.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and to drive the business with a high sense of urgency. · Excellent presentation and organization skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills.

  • Team and goal oriented.

  • Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced, yet collaborative environment.

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce results.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Capability in SalesForce

BiomeFX Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent education and customer service to our current and future BiomeFX accounts

Physical requirements (For North America positions ONLY)

  • Must possess visual acuity for computer work

Candidate profile

  • The BiomeFX Sales Representative must have strong communication skills, desire to work with Health Care Practitioners and a strong desire to learn/educate testing results and internal mechanisms.

Challenges in position

  • Candidate will be provided educational opportunities to learn more on the gut Microbiome and other internal mechanisms. Skills around how to interpret stool testing and communicate to our health care practitioners

*Candidate must live in Central or Eastern Time Zones

Expected salary range: $50,000 + bonus
