General Summary:
The Billing Specialist III is a support level position that creates the customer invoice, performs complex monthly maintenance on existing invoices and validates the accuracy of the changes based on a pre-generated contract summary

Some of What You'll Do
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
90 % • Perform monthly maintenance of the billing methodology and rating programs used to create new and/or existing customer invoices
• Perform monthly departmental control functions related to contract changes
10 % • Support the Operational Readiness/Product Development Process in the creation of rating programs for new/existing product development
• Support the monthly billing adjustments input into the billing system
• Provide Level II support to the billing and AR customer support team
Job Requirements:
Knowledge Requirements
• General knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• General knowledge of a billing and accounting software package and Microsoft Excel
Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of experience with a billing and accounting software package
• Experience creating and interpreting logical mathematical statements
• Basic understanding of the Wireless, Wireline telecommunications industry
• Experience working with service order and provisioning systems
