This role is remote based but the ideal candidate will work US Eastern time or Central time hours.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of the invoice process, initially loading time and expense detail into an Excel template and distribution to Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to start the monthly billing process.

  • Assist with drafting and finalizing invoices directly in Workday.

  • Maintain data and project integrity within Workday.

  • Generate Workday reports as required to manage projects.

  • Post items in Workday and on shared drive as needed.

  • Create and manage billing related accruals.

  • Complete ad hoc requests, including reporting, that require use of excel formulas to prepare and present information.

  • Act as liaison between PM/SPM and accounting to ensure billing and revenue recognition is accurate.

  • Read, understand and implement contracts, agreements, terms and conditions to support billing.

  • Quality assurance review of project/contract set-up performed in Workday.

  • Assist the e-Billing team with invoice submission, accruals, and follow-up regarding invoices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4-6 years business experience.

  • Finance or accounting background preferred

  • Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to Billings and A/R.

  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal and written correspondence.

  • Apply logic and common practice to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and meet specific service level metrics.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good judgment.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others.

  • Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • Workday Financials and Alteryx experience is a plus.

  • To perform this position successfully, it is required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including intermediate skills in Excel.
