Job Description:
Seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist for a busy escrow office. The receptionist answers the phone, transfers calls, greets customers and delivery personnel, distributes packages and mail, and handles miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned. This role is also responsible to keep the lobby and conference rooms clean and orderly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Answer multi-line phones, greet customers and visitors (by name when possible) with a professional and welcoming demeanor.

Maintains lobby area and conference rooms.

Takes and delivers messages promptly.

Distributes mail/deliveries during the day and processes outgoing mail.

Responsible for branch accounting procedures and processes the daily banking.

Prepares overnight and courier packages (i.e., Federal Express, local courier, etc.).

Receipts in escrow funds and send receipt copies to appropriate parties.

Opens new escrows and title orders.

Task to Central Processing Unit (CPU), i.e., payoffs, HOA and utility demands that appear on preliminary report/title commitment and/or Seller/Borrower Information Sheets, as requested.

Continues escrow education either through Company seminars/meetings or through outside sources (i.e., Escrow Association).

Complies with Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and complete mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines.

At a minimum, the ability to work your scheduled office hours, Monday through Friday.

Ability to work overtime as requested by management.

Dependable, reliable and punctual attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour company events.

Ability to accept supervision as well as constructive feedback.

Ability to collaborate and interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.

Demonstrates courtesy, professionalism and is proactive and responsive to supervisor/manager, co-workers and customer needs and expectations.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meet prescribed deadlines.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to act independently with sound judgement and take initiative.

Written and verbal communications are clear, grammatically correct and business appropriate.

Demonstrates courtesy and professionalism and is proactive and responsive to co-workers and external customer needs and expectations.
Physical/Mental Demands:

The ability to work with confidential information.

The ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday is required.

Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.
Sedentary work: The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
