The ideal candidate will have experience working with customers and responding to incoming inquiries. In this role, you will use your bilingual skills in English and Spanish to provide customer support to our Rosetta Stone and IXL users. This person must be well-organized and extremely personable. This position is for a Bilingual Membership Specialist who is passionate about and dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to our growing customer base.

This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide exceptional service and support to prospective customers, both in English and Spanish
  • Process customer credit card payments as well as refunds and cancellation requests
  • Respond to billing questions and concerns.
  • Perform tasks related to sales support such as answering inbound sales and product questions, providing pricing information, and logging customer communication in Salesforce
  • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to customers via phone and email
  • Initiate customer transfers to technical or customer support staff
  • Complete related projects successfully and promptly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
  • 2+ years of call center-style phone support or other customer service experience 
  • Energetic, positive, mature person who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using online tools in a professional setting (Ex. Salesforce, G-Suite, or other internal tools)

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $24 - $29 per hour + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay ranges for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
