As a Bid Manager you will oversee the complete proposal coordination, answer to RFP (Tenders) and RFI (Request for Information). Win Tenders with the expected margin contributing to steady and sustainable growth of sales and ensure governance on the tender process through risk management. You will be responsible for constant improvements through periodic reviews & workshops, update documentation related to tenders and communicate with different business stakeholders involved in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the contents and the quality of the response submission: administratively, technically, and financially. Ensure the winning strategy defined by the Sales team is valued in the response.
  • Ensure that the Bid process is followed according to the rules for each answer and package the whole proposal.
  • Manage Bid Management Gates and coordinate regular contributor meetings, document the meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Interface with sales, marketing, and product managers to define the best target price (or prices) with special focus on risk and financial assessments.
  • Coordinate and challenge all contributors and experts including Sales, Legal, Finance, Platform & Services, Product Management, Document Project Managers, Marketing and Operations, to deliver the most competitive and least risk exposed proposal possible.
  • As the project manager of the offer, monitor legal and commercial relations and communication with partners and customer.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor´s degree in engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Bid Manager, Project Manager or Pre-Sales Engineer for complex solution selling.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (B2).

Position Requirements

  • Availability to travel internationally within LATAM.
  • Colombian citizenship or work permit.
  • Hybrid role, office based in Bogotá.
