Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
NOTE: This role will require supporting Europe time-zone. You will be expected to work between the hours of 5PM - 2AM.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of BI tools and platforms
-
Provide technical support and guidance to BI users, resolving any issues related to data quality, system access, and report generation
-
Collaborate with BI analysts and IT team members to implement enhancements and new features in the BI system
-
Develop and maintain documentation for BI system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures
-
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues proactively
-
Analyzing, troubleshooting and fixing SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent Jobs
-
Assist in the integration of BI tools with other enterprise systems and databases
-
Train users on the effective use of BI tools and promote best practices within the organization
Key Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a BI Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
-
Solid experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
-
Exposure to database systems (OLTP, OLAP), data-warehousing solutions (DWH), ETL/ELT processes, Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting is preferred
-
Experienced esigning new database objects (tables, views, functions)
-
Designing new database objects (tables, views, functions)
-
Creating ETL packages (SSIS + ADF) to move data from sources to Data Warehouse
-
Strong communicator and interpersonal skills, you need to be good at explaining technical concepts to non-technical users

Experience writing advanced T-SQL stored procedures is desirable

Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Optimizing existing code base (SQL Sentry, Execution Plans
