The Software Developer plays a key role in this international project in the software systems' design, development, testing and maintenance activities. He is responsible for making specialized and high-quality software for CGM customers. 

 

The Software Developer is in charge of the entire development process for a software program. Participate in design and refinement meetings to develop, test and debug programs to meet business needs. Has strong knowledge of standards, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. He also has good experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding language. 

 

Your Contribution: 

As part of an international development team, you will work on a pioneering cloud-based solution for the pharmacy sector. 

  • Commitment, creativity, and the interdisciplinary cooperation of various specialists provide the perfect starting point for exciting projects. 

  • Thanks to your experience with the agile process, you can take on development tasks in one of our teams. 

  • You will be responsible for the design, development, and extension of existing software modules, as well as the conception of new services and APIs to extend the existing application. 

  • You will develop Kotlin services and ensure that they are perfectly adapted to the requirements of the backend infrastructure and development logic. 

  • You will secure your work across the board through code reviews, unit and integration tests and documentation. 

  • You will benefit from international collaboration, close exchange with Quality Assurance and a centrally hosted and stable DevOps infrastructure. 

 

What you bring: 

  • You have a degree in IT, e.g. in computer science, software engineering or in an IT related field. 

  • Several years of intensive development experience with Java and Spring / SpringBoot as well as an interest in modern technology stacks. Experience in development with Kotlin and .NET is a plus! 

  • You also have experience with REST, OpenAPI, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Git, Clean Code and Software Design Patterns. 

  • Designing and developing service-oriented architectures using microservices. 

  • Knowledge about common secure coding practices. 

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn new things and stay on top of industry trends. 

  • Good Analytical skills, open-minded, problem-solving and results-oriented personality 

  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English and German
