ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the job.
- Manage and prepare customer invoices for delivered orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor unbilled orders and resolve documentation, rate or other issues to ensure prompt billing.
- Respond to customer inquiries and clarifications.
- Transmit agings to customers as required.
- Manage and monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities. Resolve all payment, billing and documentation issues. Regularly, follow-up with customers as needed until invoices are paid in full.
- Initiate escalated payment collection methods (bond claims, bankruptcy claims or legal procedures) for non-payment.
- Maintain up-to-date customer account details for customers including addresses, telephone number and email addresses.
- Maintain updated and current rate documentation in Imaging system.
- Ensure current rates in Accounts Receivable/ Billing system and input as rates change or new rates are added.
- Update customer fuel schedules in Accounts Receivable/ Billing system as needed.
- Coordinate with Customer Service team to ensure monthly invoices for irregular activity are billed timely and accurately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor or Associates degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a high volume billing environment
