Job Description
BryceTech is currently looking for a Program Manager to support BARDA's mission in enhancing the nation's public health security and emergency preparedness by facilitating communication on innovative products and solutions between federal agencies and public stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for the generation, maintenance, and dissemination of key program documents to team members and stakeholders and will help create compelling strategic and explanatory materials.
The person in this role will:
- Define and maintain metrics for evaluating R&D program outcomes. This includes leading data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts. Implement streamlined and automated systems for data acquisition, validation, and reporting. Collaborate with R&D and program teams to align on metrics and outcome tracking.
- Support the design and development of data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and other tools as needed. This includes working closely with the data analytics team and other stakeholders to develop effective and actionable visualizations that help drive program performance.
- Streamline and automate data ingestion of key program and portfolio data by employing various Microsoft 365 tools. This includes implementing processes for efficient information flow across the organization, proactively identifying internal opportunities for improvement and leveraging external data sources. Create a “do more with less” culture.
- Provide program updates to leadership based on dashboards or other reporting actions as needed. This includes regularly updating senior leadership on key program metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for program optimization.
- Manage and track program metrics across the investment opportunity pipeline, portfolio support, and partnership impact. This includes monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, such as deal flow, portfolio company growth, and impact metrics for partnership programs. Refine information categorization to include improving descriptions for portfolio, programs, and funded R&D projects and collaborating with the team to ensure consistent and meaningful classification.
- Maintain and organize program management documents and deliverables, such as monthly and quarterly reports, meeting minutes, agendas, and other documentation. This includes ensuring that all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Draft program management documents, presentations, and memos to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. This includes creating high-quality materials for program updates and other program-related content.
- Foster organizational learning. Implement a robust process for capturing, analyzing, and applying insights from previous R&D contracts and projects. Work to create a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Expand data resources and improve knowledge sharing. This includes utilizing external data sources to enrich and augment information on current and future partners. Continuously update and maintain high-quality data assets; ensure project teams are aware and have access to organizational trackers; reduce duplicated data.
- Cultivate data-driven decision-making. Champion a "single source of truth" approach to empower decision-makers with accurate, timely data. Foster organizational agility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business analytics or biomedical sciences and expertise in power BI
- 10+ years of experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
